One historical inaccuracy in that review. Matt Lukin did not "leave" the Melvins for Mudhoney. Buzz fell in love with second bassist Lori (then of Clown Alley) and moved to San Francisco with Dale to make her the bassist of the Melvins, effectively kicking Matt out without telling him. Mudhoney formed nearly a year after that.
