http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3F-Rsx4o7TA I'm looking around ebay for a VW medallion, I'm thinking of going to a new year's costume party as Mike D. I'm not stealing one because stealing is naughty. |

man, i wasnt defending the labs originality, it was a tongue in cheek comment about a blatant tongue in cheek rip off... of course both bands are pastiche to be honest but they are so damn good at it! and im sure the in sound phrase dates right the way back even before the kingsley record! |
![]() Ahh yeah |
I don't like early BBoyz Paul's Boutique and before...
I like Check yr head, Ill com or even Hello Nasty |
The first time I saw them they were closing out a New Year's Eve show with the Ramones in 1985
The next time was on the Licensed to Ill tour at the Capital Theater in Passaic. The bill was Murphy's Law, Public Enemy, and the Beastie Boys. The last time I saw them was on the Check Your Head tour with Rollins Band opening. Paul's Boutique is easily their best album. I also like a lot of the weird shit extras that they throw onto their CD Singles. |
Hello Nasty is severely underrated. that shit fucking PUMPS. especially the first LP of the double album.
|
Shit, why is there no love for Licensed To Ill? If ever there was a record that captures youthful excitement and lust for life it is that.
|
my favorite record is the cookie puss 12 inch. polly wog stew is my second favorite one.
