i try to read the grimewatch column every month

The Economist is one of the best magazines I have read recently. Not purely about boring economics stuff.

Yeah I read some of my brother's economists. A lot of economics is cool shit anyway. I like Vice, too. I like most of Vice that I've read, anyway.

as i'm sure someone's said, skyscraper is a good one for a broad range of independent music that reports on a bunch of good bands before they start getting blogged about or whatever the fuck.

I've recently been reading the rather wonderful Butt magazine. It's a queer magazine, but easily the best read I've had for yonks. My flatmate, a signed up member of the brown canal appreciators' club, has a subscription. I'd heartily recommend everyone check out this wonderful thing.

wow, Jazzkammer is really getting a lot of attention lately. They're pretty good. I read Adbusters because I agree with MOST of the stuff, but the fact that they Gloss their pages somewhat defeats the subject

i don't read many music mags anymore, but there's a great art mag called Juxtapoz that i buy on occasion.

me and a friend are starting a zine. we are working on the layout of the first issue. mostly focused on noise and other forms of extreme music ala hardcore/grind/black metal/thrash etc. cover story on atrax morgue. will have 500 copies of the first issue.... will be similar in style to maximumrockandroll

by the way, i changed my mind about big takeover, i really don't like it.
