Ryan and i are in the works of putting together a finished demo. I would like to share with yall and get yr feedback. Problem is I am a retard at sharing sites and my work computer has a firewall blocking most of them. I found 1 i think its :) Jamenda, but I am not sure of the file format i has to be in. Our recordings are in wav form. I don't think that site supports it or i am doing something wrong. Can I convert them to other types of files? If so how.

What I'd do is download winrar, right click the demo folder and click 'add to archive'. It will then make your folder into a compressed rar file...

Then upload the rar file at someplace like mediafire.com, megaupload.com etc. and give us the sharing link!

If it's just one file then there's actually no need for winrar, just upload it with mediafire.com or whatever!

If it's more than one file then throw it in a folder and right click then 'add to archive'

keep in mind sharing sites have size limitations for the files, so if it's a BIG wav (or a BIG sum of different wavs) things could get a bit trickier.

honestly, I'm beyond shit at computers but if it's just one track you want to upload, megaupload is really straightforward. It's a similar process to putting an attachment on an email. just go to megaupload.com, press browse when you'll then get the file from your hardrive, as you would when looking for an attqachment. Then press send and wait a few minutes while it upoads it. It'll then give you a link which'll be what you post here so we can get it. Simple as that.

ok that sounds REALLY good. I just wanted to run a track or 2 across SYG. We are making a demo and going to start trying to book some shows in town. I am in charge of pr management and shit hes the guitar genious. I am really good at CAD but when it comes to other pc shit i am easily confused:)

if your not using iTunes, it'd be worth downloading just for the convenient conversion to MP3 feature. Just click the song > under "advanced" click "create MP3 version".
