the only way I could think of being confused for diamond sea ludwig noise is the fact that thurston kept playing with his pedals between songs and making alot of noise, like at the beggining of Golden Blue and many other songs that night.
many of those noises were flanging bleeps and phasing stuff. |

Hey guys you should study more history!
The ludwig phase II sinth is not a phase or sinth at all!! It's a multi effects unit that includes a fuzz, a tremolo (labeled Animation) and a odd filtering section labeled FORMANT TRAJECTORIES.

"study more history"...hmmm, there's nothing about Ludwig boxes in this book on Antietam. Haha. I should know equipment better perhaps though.
