Painting Soldiers, from Brooklyn, New York, will be releasing their debut album, "Wet Woods" on July 4th 2012 to the general public (it is currently available at their live shows, though). It was recorded and mixed at Echo Canyon West, in Hoboken, New Jersey, and it has been produced by Lee Ranaldo, and engineered by Aaron Mullan. You can find info about this duo formed by Andrea Hansen on vocals and guitar, and Anthony Vitale on keyboard, over at Painting Soldiers' official facehook profile:

Painting Soldiers also have a Bandcamp page. There's no audio available at the moment, but I suppose that must be the place to check this one out and ordering a copy from, once it's out:

Who said anything about religion?
"Wet Woods" for sale at shows. There's a song off the album for sale on bandcamp. We should have some copies of the next run at Other Music.

That record was "No Handle" by a four-piece band, Ice Water Scandal. The Social Registry put it out and, alas, we did break up upon the release.
