Lost promise, but a couple of great tunes. See also - Fishcerspooner & Ultrasound and not, by any means ever, Terris.

Terris and Rialto are a no no.Fisherspooner i really like a tune of theirs but i can't remember what it's called.Gay Dad had only 'From earth with love' that could possibly redeem the pile of rubbish that was in the can.

Rialto, oh yes. They were like Gene (who I like) mixed with Patrick Duff's band (whose name escapes me entirely, strangely), but rubbish.

Oh yes.Charity shops are sometimes priceless for finding good records(i think we have been before on this subject). The entire history of british music lies inside those bins(kind of).

i'm not being contrary, i don't care for the smiths at all, but i quite liked gene at the time, not enought to buy a record mind, but more than i ever liked the smiths. they kind of reminded me of the smiths though, that's why i'm saying that. i haven't heard a gene song in almost 10 years though.

Someone once compared Skye Klad to Gay Dad.
I was profoundly disturbed. |
