and i have to say i am a bit disturbed. the whole thing didn't make one ounce of sence whatsoever. man i though a hard days night was bad, but this was just sad. What the hell was going on through the whole thing? why did it just cut to random sences and random singing? what the hell?!?!?!

Ha ha ha. Yeah, it's pretty fucked up. I love that movie. It's great! It's not really supposed to make "sense." It's like a weird dream.

a few years ago I downloaded the movie. I fastforwarded and skipped around in it a little. nothing seemed comprehensible. I got rid of it soon after. I kind of wish I didn't, now I'm super curious about it and bet I'll love it by now. magical mystery tour is possibly my favorite album of theirs anyway.
a hard day's night and help! are both fantastic movies. it's true though some of the humor goes by pretty quick and whizzing over your head in a million pieces if you aren't fully concentrating, or simply not british. I forced myself to rewatch them a couple times. still, I'd easily give them three and a half or four stars. |
