i thought this was originally supposed to be limited to 100......800 seems like quite a bit more......not that rare..

not entirely. it was originally supposed to be limited to 400, with 100 of those to be sold via the sonic youth website. it was also mentioned on the sy news page as 400 at first and then later on changed to 800.
