Yep, that was originally on a compilation called Sgt. Pepper Knew My Father that came out in the late '80s. I think it was the first "tribute album" to contain a Sonic Youth cover, of which there have of course been countless others since.

oh wow cool. it stays pretty true to the original version which i thought was nice. its definitely got a sonic flair to it though
