Ever bought an album, forgot about it, then come back to it years later to be completely blown away by it?
I bought a Juke / 19 (a band somehow or another related to the Boredoms) CD nigh on two years ago, listened to it once then completely forgot about it until last night. After putting it on again I was amazed I had neglected it for so long. Totally damaged fucked up Confusion is Sex meets Boredoms via Einsturzende Neubauten banging clanging weirdness. Great great great great great. Ay, to think I could have been jamming it all this time. Anything similar ever happen to you?

yeah, this happened to me with royal trux, i bought accelarator when it came out liked, two songs but got bored of them really quick, forgot about it for a year and was then amazed by it.
that's happened a lot to me though, and it's weird that it always seems to be the case when i get an urge to listen to something i bought and then forgot about that when i come back to it a long time later i get blown away. |

It happened with Royal Trux with me as well. I got the s/t when I was about 17 and it frightened me a bit. I came back to it 3+ years later and loved it of course.
Also, Jon Spencer Blues Explosions first record. I liked all the others except that one. I came back to it years later and now it's the only one I ever listen to. |

Happens to me all the time with this Peter Jefferies album called Closed Circuit. I forget all about it for months at a time, and then stumble upon it, and then there are no other records for a while. Bought it in Oly used for $1.99, so that says so much for the hippest city in indie rock bullshit.

Disco Inferno - "In Debt"
Oh I love that record so much, although I don't think many people know it.
