As much as I love them they are about third for me. It probably goes Kurt, John, & the youth. I would only put them 1 point apart though, they are all equal in my eyes I guess that's just the order that I fell in love with each artist.

oh and as far as mixing music and art I'd say Sonic Youth is tied with Beefheart for me, I love the video for ice cream for crow.
