X sucks, but it's nowhere near as bad as XII... I never thought a game could be worse than VIII but jesus! XII is horrible.

I had never played X until a week ago. I had never played any of the PS2 FF's, so I grabbed it. I think it's OK, but my God it's a lot of watching rather than playing.
VII is obviously the classic (and was the last one I played until X). I'd like to get IX, because I like the classic sprite look of it. Especially the Black Mage who looks and is awesome. But y'know I and II are probably still my favorites. |

Seriously? VIII is bad? I'd probably say it's my next fave(post PS FF's). I actually never finished 12 because of the stupid side quests. I got side quests that have enemies 20 levels above me and I jsut got sick of it. I was close to the end and the story wasn't too bad, it just got annoying with gambits and whatever. The battle system was nice to see because of change but it also made certain battle situations too easy and others too difficult. I like being able to customizing the characters a little bit more, but setting action priorties just became a queer idea to me.

Oh yeah, the other thing I dont like in X is the weird system to power up with the orbs or whatever.

Yeah that stupid thing. I still dont even fully "get it." I mean, it's supposed to give you more control over level-ups, but it's more complicated than need be I think.

I guess you can call Wii more of a party game system. It definately is one of my favorite mutliplayer console because of Brawl and Mario Party. However, for a personal system, it can only do so much. I've tried playing Brawl online, and it is awful. The only gametype is 2 minute brawl and they do not let you change anything or even host rooms.

Yeah I'm not much of a party gamer. But me and my wife do rock some of the EyeToy games on PS2.

The only real party game I do love to play is ROck Band (2). Love it. I rock the drums...and actually I broken my drums, but I (kind of) fixed them with masking tape and box tape. I couldn't find the duct tape...so yeah.

I Know Right! It's gotten crazy press though. SUPPOSEDLY there's a PSP version coming next year, so I might wait for that. No PS3 for this guy. |

I got PS3, just no money to buy LBP. It was RB2 or LBP....I went with RB2 mainly because of Teenage Riot. If I get it anytime soon I'll let you know.

My hope is that the PSP version of LBP will work with the same online uploaded worlds as the PS3 version.

You'll probably need a huge memory card. The levels may not be that big in size, but....yah know... |
