Being officially the worst guitar player in the world, I absolutely fucking LOVE fuzz pedals and have just recently started collecting them.
I've only got three so far (a D*A*M 'Meathead', Devi Ever 'US' and a Frantone 'The Sweet') but I'm dedicated to getting enough to one day be able to open a museum of fuzz. So which fuzz pedals do you have/rate/want? |

I've got the Zvex fuzz factory. Very fun to play around with.
The Supersonic fuzz gun and Fuzz war by Death by audio are very nice too.

How easy are you finding that? I'm really tempted to try my hand at building pedals.

well.. I already got all the electronic components, just need the printed wiring board.. I hope it works. I installed a killswitch in my guitar last week, and it works... I know it's not the same thing, and i'm not really a tech geek but I'm enthusiastic about getting this pedal done, because it's one of the easiest circuits to build by yourself..i've heard

I have a boss fuzz pedal (fz-2), which allledgedly is similar to the one used on Dopethrone. No idea whether it's good or not. Can't really crank it up as I'm playing thru headphones.
Works well with VL-tone though. |
