Do we actually have a proper thread for this already? If so, apologies, I tried searching...

Well, it looks increasingly like this might actually make a surprising break from tradition and drop on the 8th of September, but maybe I'm just being overly optimistic. Rae’s stuff may not have been great for a while, but what with him completely rocking it on the new Doom, and the general awesomeness of the new Dilla produced track, I’m actually (tentatively) getting pretty psyched for this. Thoughts?

and thoughts-wise... Rae's recent mixtape albums, especially THE DA VINCI CODE were very good. But more exciting to me were his recent guest spots. His track on the Game's LAX, "Bulletproof Darts" was vintage Rae, and then more amazing was his track on DOOM's new album. At first I was like "Why didnt Doom rap on that?" but then I realized that Doom was just giving the man his props. Rae ripped it on the ESG beat and it really got me excited for ONLY BUILT 2... of course it actually landing in the stores, and being a reality is something else altogether. This has been something I've been awaiting for so long, that it's hard for me to believe a release date.
