In MBV, in You Made Me Realize, how the hell do they get that noise in the jam???
Its imposibble to recreate, it sounds like he's doing nothing to his guitar... Maybe just pure volume/pedal fuckage? |

MBV, and kevin smith in particular, got those sounds and skronks and washes by emndlessly dubbing the guitars over and over each other. It is a masterpiece os studio wonkery.

No, not really. I'm talking about live performances such as the Loom tour's Vancouver show. It runs on for 17 minutes, nothing really studio about that.

I know how to do it and his setup and playing, but have no idea about that certain white noise part...
