Yeah, I need something that is not really lyrical just good beats, and am able to dance to it, or just smile while walking down the streets. Give me music recomendtions.

Have radio streaming. Otherwise, there's a Girls Aloud best-of available, and Abba Gold should be in most good shops. Or go back to Burzum, that's equally as fun.

Interesting. I was going to start a similar thread the other day, but I was going to ask for uplifting music because I'd had a crap day.
Panda Bear's Person Pitch is nice summer music. |

"Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain" by Pavement is an excellent summertime album, as is Beck's "Stereopathetic Soulmanure" (the latter being more of an evening-time record).

The first 5 songs of Brighten The Corners are my "moving into a new house" songs. If things are going badly i refuse to allow them near my stereo

i'm listening to the +2 series. it's a trio with rotating leadership shared between Moreno Veloso (son of Caetano), Alexandre Kassin, and Domenico Lancelotti.
it's a beautiful marriage of tropicalia, experimental rock, bossa nova and psychedelia. also, sun ra's "space is the place" is great for summer nights.

The Stooges' Funhouse is perfect. especially when you're driving with the windows down.
i also enjoy Hypermagic Mountain when it gets hot.

My new ambient three-track demo is quite cheering piece of summer music.
Well, at least in case you're into haunted voices and dubbed-out sounds. (shameless self-promo vol. 536)
