I just hope it won't end with the same result as the English rugby team's result

That was one of the most enjoyable performances that I've seen from an England team in some time. I hope that McLaren doesn't feel the need to meddle before the game against Russia in the week.

Fat Frank being out seems to have settled past midfield problems quite nicely. It's tempting to want to stick with that side for wednesday, but Russia look loads harder than Israel.

I'm supposed to be more loyal to Frank, I know, but I think he went downhill during the 2005/2006 season, and he's never recovered. He was mis-firing for Chelsea in the second half of that season, and it was no great surprise that he was a waste of space at the World Cup.
I hope he doesn't play against Russia. |

He probably won't be fit.
It'll be interesting to see if McClaren makes any changes. Crouch and Hargreaves are available. Hopefully he won't tinker around but Russia will be a much harder game than Saturday's. Wish I was going now, could have had a ticket. |

I don't know how much of a doubt little Stevie Gerrard is through injury - he's the only change I'd consider if I was in charge.

I've no idea who I'd put on in place of Gerrard. But it sounds like it's not a problem anyway, Lampard and Hargreaves are supposedly out through injury, but no mention of little Stevie.
