I'm not a big fan of many tv shows, but I really like Breaking Bad.
For those of you who haven't seen it, it is about a chemistry teacher who gets diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and starts cooking meth to raise money for his family. |

Breaking Bad is awesome.
I rarely watch anything other than the history channel (or travel if No Reservations is on), but I try to catch Breaking Bad. my friend told me to watch it, but I was a little leery because it was a series on AMC (I was convinced that AMC was the gender non-specific version of Lifetime). however, after watching the pilot a few weeks ago, I was sold. |

Not really. The creator didn't even know about Weeds when they first pitched the show. Apparently they are pretty different. Weeds is not nearly as dark from what I hear. |

AMC is like TCM but with commercials and not as many kick ass movies. But now original series wise it is starting to become the HBO or Showtime of basic cable. |

ahhh is there anything in that show approaching mary louise parker's hotness? or that mute chick-- she's got a strange face, but she's cool. |

During the time I had Showtime I couldn't get into "Weeds" or "Californication" for that matter. "Californication" was like a male version of "Sex and the City", that's not a compliment. "Dexter" and "Brotherhood" though, are awesome.
