Anybody else think this song is amazing? It's got the highest amount of plays according to my itunes playcount. I just think it's beautiful. It sounds alot different to the rest of the songs that are on dirty in terms of style. One of Kims finest moments, a few levels below shadow of a doubt but that's just my opinion. what u think?

Great song. It's got that haunting quality to it that most post DDN songs don't have.

great track. love it.
by the way, even though Kim vocaly did a great job on it, brought the right emotion to it, I like instrumental version from rehearsal recording more. JC is great, Moonface is excelent. I'm going listen to it now. |

Yes one of kim's greatest song. However, for me it has to be Bull in the Heather.

I'll have to give moonface a proper listen. and I agree about the haunting feeling, the intro reminds me of shaking hell because of the shrumming that sounds like chiming.

This is one of the only songs from Dirty that I can't recall from memory, I always get it confused with Chapel Hill. I think I thought it was a good song the last time I listened to Dirty.

I know they're different songs, I just can't help mixing them up because JC doesn't stay in my memory.

Great song. Maybe my favorite on Dirty, actually. Yeah it's about Joe Cole. I believe that 100% is also about him, or at least part of it is. The part about being shot in the head... Cool live video, by the way. I wish they still played this live.

yes, 100% is about Joe Cole.
I remember listening to JC one evening coming out of a shower in the midst of a sunset (my home has a lot of windows and it was a wonderful sight), with the music tuning into something really intense and in that very moment something clicked inside of me: I cried a bit and all of a sudden I was one with the sounds out of the stereo. A very precious memory for me. |

its definitely one of the most emotional songs they've done. I always admire how they get the guitars to sound so chaotic, yet structured in this track - teetering on thr edge!
Top 5 for me |

it's nice to see so much appreciation for this song! it's the type of song only they could write, the way those guitars, just.. sound, almost random but somehow combined create a really unique song. beautiful.
