Multicamera live footage from 2006 hydrahead CMJ showcase in NYC. Edited and prepped for consumption by Mr Plotkin. Comes housed in a ½ fold heavy matte stock cover adorned with paintings from Stephen Kasner’s reckless mind dropped into a 10mil. custom sized PVC outer sleeve. All text on outer and inner covers silkscreen in metallic silver by broken presses. Mirror faced pit art DVD comes slipped inside a hand stamped black sleeve. Pressing of 500 copies $17 postpaid in the US (International orders add extra postage) MICK BARR ARCHIVE4-5 2 x DVD An inclusive look at Mick Barr’s esoteric approach to guitar playing. A project really spawned by the desire of Plotkin, and basically the inception of a DVD imprint for archive. Material spanning 06-07 of Mick’s solo works, groupings (Ocrilim, Orthrelm), and an improv clip of Mick in battle with Zach Hill in SF. Two packed DVD’s of material. Comes housed in a 4 panel fold out cover slipped inside a custom sized 10mil PVC sleeve. DVD’s are placed in custom printed vellum sleeves with vellum obi adorned with franticly crafted doodles by Mick. A collection of material filmed and edited by James Plotkin from 2007 US east coast dates from NYC, and Philadelphia. Also includes a short clip of a jam session from the Lemur house with Bardo Pond guys and Harmonica Dan. Total run time of about an hour. Pressing of 600. $17 postpaid in the US (International orders add extra postage) AI ASO THE CHAMOMILE POOL SHOW archiveDVD7 a quickly happening DVD release from Tokyo artist Ai Aso whose probably most well know outside of Japan for appearing on Michio Kurihara’s solo CD’s and handling the B side of a lavishly packaged 2007 split 7” with Wata from Boris fame. The Chamomile pool DVD documents concert footage from Ai Aso from 2007 in Tokyo. Hypnotically delicate, angelic and minimal in structure Ai, accompanied by her band, and with guest appearances by Wata and Kurihara, for a portion, craft her unique blend of songwriting and psychedelic musicianship. Produced by Atsuo, of Boris, and edited and directed by Ryuta Murayama of foodunited (responsible for Boris DVD’s, Greenmachine, Stupid Babies Gone Mad). To date represent Ai’s first non-Japanese release. Offset printed DVD disc face comes housed in a heavy stock diecut letterpress printed ½ fold cover. yeah, i placed an order today; unfortunately not as big as i hoped it would be.
hopefully more in the future when i get a bigger income, those dvds look cool. |
