My boss just called as I was clearing snow from the driveway and said not to bother even trying to go in.
I'm gonna go build a snowman! |

I wish my boss would do the same, but it's quicker to walk than taking any bus or train, so I'll have to go to work in the end. SNOW!!!

I walked into a snowman this morning (It was on Chelsea Bridge)
Battersea Park looks beautiful with all the snow - like a winter wonderland scene. We're being sent home at 1pm today - yay. it took me 1h40mins to walk to work (just over a four mile journey) - not bad at all really, considering.

There ain't no snow here at the moment.
I hope for Wednesday in the mountains though, since our boss announced a company ski trip into High Tatras from Wednesday evening to Saturday. Yay, a three-day work week, that's what I like !!!

Sonic Bebs - what were the roads/pavement like on your journey? There was a lot of ice around on my way in, meaning that sometimes I was forced to waddle like a baby duck. It's also started to snow again - I've just looked out of the window here at work. Looks like we'll be having this weather for at least another 24 hours.
Nefeli - I'll post my snow pix later on

pavements were about half-way-up-my-shins with powder (and i'm 6"5) but the roads were icey and slushy i just waded through the powder but most people were staggering around the road sliding in front of cars (who were pretty slidey) bbc6 said another foot of snow this afternoon! |

I walked back from Melly's house last night in a fucking blizzard. I passed two joggers along the way. The buffoons. I finally got home, looked in the mirror and was confronted with the sight of a bearded snowman (or Kurt Russell in The Thing, as my flatmate informed me).
