Yeah, I just caved and got a Facebook page so I could see if my girlfriend had changed her status to single or not, which is stupid because she did as soon as I got on! We're still fucking, I think, though.
So then, I had the damn thing at last, and decided that promoting my shit via the place everybody is was probably the way to go, even if it sucks. |

I felt like a dirty voyeur when I watched Mirrors facing Mirrors.
Looks like cinema of transgression is making a comeback of some sort. Nice work guys.

Before I forget, videoart.net have invited me to show some of my work at their film festival on the 22nd May 2010 in New York.
I'm too busy on a project right now, so I've declined their offer. Maybe you guys should give it a shot. I've worked with these guys before and highly recommend them. Happy networking.

I just watched Gimp and Weed Demon. I loved the beginning of Gimp, with the guy just sitting down to have breakfast. The long dialogue scene in the middle between you and him though, as well as the murder bit at the end, didn't really work for me. The bit where the guy is preparing breakfast though is brilliant. Eight minutes of just that and then 'The End' would've been genius.
I sort of feel the same about Weed Demon. I'd have preferred it if you'd just filmed her with the bong, getting sick, and then the quote at the end, rather than with the sfx bits with the monster and the hands. And please tell me no harm came to that copy of Famous Monsters of Film Land. Just my opinion obviously. Looking forward to watching more. |

All you need now is a couple of pocket rockets, a noise track by Thurston + bad lighting and you're ready to go.

I liked it when you backhanded the gimp, and then he KEEELED you, mang.
although, I've never really understood gimp masks, and have always assumed they were used to hide badly disfigured mentally handicapped children. also...I like to breathe. final review: |

gODARD shout out for the win!
I wonder if you've seen death laid an egg. Not a perfect film or anything, but it's like a giallo done by godard, pretty nuts... Interesting stuff in your interview. Glad Dead Air Freshners is doing the soundtrack, wish I had time to do a whole soundtrack for you but I'm so incredibly, incredibly busy with everything that it's just not a good time.. will definitely contribute something in the future.. |
