I've had my fun. But sb1070 is fascist and makes me sickened to live here. Can't wait to graduate.

I've been covering it a bit for one of the publication I write for, I have a 20 minute voice mail from Senator Pearce just slobbing himself about what a great job he's done with this bill, and then I call back and he doesn't answer so I can't rebuttal with questions.

I go to the University of Arizona. Graduating in December. And yeah, I like the desert. Pretty girls, nice weather, short drives to Mexico, Vegas, California. Great night life in Scottsdale. Decent dive bars in Tucson. Aside from the politics, it's not a bad place to live. I definitely avoid the seasonal depression I used to endure in Cape Cod growing up.

Phoenix is one of the five major metropolitan areas in the United States that lack a metro train service

I only have one semester left and a summer job with the Tucson Weekly so I'm thinking I might as well stick it out. Lots to write about when things are shitty.
