Given all this talk about All Tomorrow's Parties, which groups would you chose if you were given the chance to curate?
My choices would be: Sonic Youth (duh) Mission of Burma Pixies Smashing Pumpkins (possibly, depending on how their reunion goes) Meat Puppets (reunion) Controller.Controller Interpol Radiohead Dalek Greg Ginn solo International Noise Conspiracy .....and a bunch of others

Let me think about it some more.
Also, I would love a reformed Les Rallizes Denudes but isn' one of them still exiled in North Korea for his part in the Yodo-go hijack thing in the 1970? Although he can't of been that much of an important member because they did most of their stuff after that. Actually, I've been trying to find out more about their link with leftist politics in Japan but information is thin on the ground. I read somewhere that the Japanese Red Army tried to get Mitzutani involved in the Yodo-go thing...if he did then there would be even less Les Rallizes stuff recorded. Imagine that! |

Cha-Ching. I'd also like to have a 'festival' with Lady Sov involving her anatomy and some sort of lubricant. Cha-Ching.
