i just installed my new modem router thing and the geniuses at the phone company (the providers) left out the configuration disc.
is there any way i can configure the router without it? (for example, azureus detects a firewall because the port the router is using is blacklisted) |

theres a load of info on the azureus wiki, you can find it thru the azureus help menu i think. i think isp's know and get pissed off if you fuck around with your router ports for p2p though. im far from an expert, so i may be talking shit and they may not be able to tell. but i tried to find some info on changing my router settings and thats what i read.

Usually a decent router company will have information on the web about port forwarding, etc. Portforward.com could def. help.
I hate when my routers cut too deep in my wood.

Allow port 6881 for Azureus I think. I don't remember. 6881-6889 are usually ports for torrent programs.
