did anyone see killdozer at the touch&go fest, what were they like?

I didn't see them at T&G, but I did see them on South Parade Pier in Southsea, Portsmouth in 1989, and they were every bit as wonderful as I hoped they would be.

i think they reformed just for the touch&go fest, i heard it was the original line-up with hobson brothers but i'm not sure.

guess i may have been taking them for granted. i used to have Twelve Point Buck but probably only listened to it once. i always figured they were just the midwest version of Flipper.

twelve point buck is their best lp, and they were much better than flipper (who were great). but a bit pointless to compare them really.

there are recordings of the killdozer/big black/scratch acid reunion shows at the touch&go 25th anniversary over at dimeadozen.

i'm somewhat hesitant to download them though. i'd definitely pay to go to those reunion shows (especially big black), but listening to a recording of one just doesn't really appeal... you just know that listening to big black in 2006 is going to be worse than recordings from 1986.
