man, seriously. if its on a menu in a resturant, get it. its a lovely meat. yeah sure it was "peasants" food back in the 1900-1930s here in ireland and went totally out of fashion, like eating rat or pigeon. but its made its culinary comeback in the 90s and is really nice. i had it for the first time only last summer on holidays in the canaries and it totally rocked... beware tho, they add the liver to it, and if you are like me and are totally repulsed by the texture of liver, it can come as a bit of a shock, its like chicken except tenderer (if thats a word)...........
