Whatever happened to the band CELL?

I really loved this band CELL that Sonic Youth helped get signed to DGC in the mid 90's. I saw them live at Liberty Lunch in Austin, Tx and there were about 3 of us there to see them in a 1000 capacity venue. It was awesome and sad at the same time.

Anyone know what Jerry DiRienzo is up to now? Those 2 records are so good, I'd love to hear if he's still writing songs...

I saw them at an Independent Music Seminar that was held in SD that year.

I thought Slo-Blo was good but I thought the followup was even better. They were really catching on. Don't know.

Wasn't someone in CELL in DAS DAMEN?
